About Shred-it Ireland

Shred-it is the pioneer of on-site confidential destruction and recycling in Ireland since 1989. During this time Shred-it has been committed to providing the most secure, cost effective, convenient and environmentally friendly service available.

In 2000 we bought the ‘Shred-it franchise’ for Ireland and Northern Ireland from Shred-it Incorporated, the largest confidential document destruction company in the world, and are now in a position to provide our service across Ireland and the UK.

In 2001 we expanded into Northern Ireland. Due to increased demand for confidential document destruction, we continued our expansion nationwide. We now have eighteen on-site mobile shredding trucks located throughout the country, enabling us to provide a complete 32 county service to over 6,000 customers.

On a global level, our organisation now has more than 140 branches worldwide, servicing over 150,000 customers on 5 continents.
