The ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems certification demonstrates Shred-it’s commitment to the environment. The standard provides guidelines on how we can manage the environmental aspects of our business activities more effectively, whilst taking into consideration pollution prevention, environmental protection and socio-economic needs.
Following initial assessment and ISO 14001:2004 certificate issue, Shred-it is subject to regular surveillance visits to maintain registration. These visits are performed by NSAI, the Irish body for inspection and certification services, and help Shred-it to continually use, monitor and improve our environmental management systems and the related processes. This improves the reliability of our internal operations to meet customer requirements and overall performance.
